Welcome to the Zwierzanski Pages
WELCOME - You have arrived at the Zwierzanski Pages on the World Wide Web.
To find your way around this website use the 'Top Navigation Bar' which uses a drop down menu system to get to where you want to go, quickly and easily. To access ALL areas of this website you NEED to be registered and given permissions to do so, but there may be some information that is available publicly.
I have installed the website so you can choose to view it in many languages by using the language box at the Top of the screen. This will change most of the wording to your chosen language.
This website is here to serve a few different roles or purposes and these are as follows;
- To serve as a central hub for members, family and descendants of the Zwierzanski family where they can share family history and information to help in identifying their position in the Zwierzanski family tree. It will also be a repository for family photographs, documents and any other useful information that may help other family members to piece together the origins and extent of the Zwierzanski family through time and distance.
This data will be held on a SECURE server to protect the information from casual readers on the internet and can ONLY be accessed by family members for their own use in tracing their part of the family tree. - There will be a FORUM area on the website to allow members to discuss, share and chat about various family issues and news.
- The website will also house the story of Paul & Loraine Zwierzanski as they relocate to the West Coast of Canada to live, work and play in a new land. You can follow their quest by going to the top bar of the website on 'Our Journey' which will drop down a menu for you to choose from. This area will be publicly accessible as it is for friends as well as family so they may follow our journey in an easy manner and in their own time.
- The beauty of having the zwierzanski.com as a website is so that many of the benefits can be used, such as having a general translation available for guests and members so that we can communicate with family members around the world. You can change the language at any time by using the link at the bottom of each page. At present there are 20 languages to choose from and more can be added if required. You can also use this facility on the Forums which means you can ask a question in your language but someone in Romania or Poland can use the language changer to read your post and send a reply in their mother tongue and you can then translate it to read. Simple!
- And last but not least, as this website is Database driven, it means that all the family information can be collated and searched directly on the website and the results will be printable, so helping with your research.
So Welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay.
